Romania at Art Moscow


For the first time, Romania is present at the most important contemporary art fair from the Eastern Europe. Anca Poteraşu Gallery is the only Romanian gallery invited to participate at Art Moscow. On Russian market will be promoted the works of Romanian artists: Florin Mitroi, Suzana Dan, Zoltan Bela and Donald Simionoiu.

        The 15th International Art Fair - Art Moscow will be opened between 21st and 25th of September 2011 and is considered one of the most important events from Russia and is internationally recognized not only through the participation of famous artists, but for the important money spent by the art lovers. Roman Abramovici established a world wide record at this Fair in the past years when he bought an art work with 33.6 millions USD.
        The main aim of the Fair is to develop and promote art and to create a space for artists where they can exhibit. More then this, the organizers intend to make people understand the economic value of art. Since its first edition in 1995 and until now, the event was a success having as participants artists from all over the world: Russia, Italy, Germany, France, Netherlands, Austria, Hungary, Latvia, Sweden, United States of America, Finland, Serbia.
